Ferranti Computer Systems LTD is the UK-arm of the Belgian software and services company Ferranti Computer Systems. Ferranti entered the UK market in the mid 2010’s with their MECOMS (MEtering and COntract Management System) utility billing and CRM platform based upon Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Ferranti and the MECOMS system were chosen to power United Utilities’ commercial billing platform in 2012 at which time Thomserve Business Analysis Solutions LTD came onboard to provide technical expertise and analysis solutions.
Since 2012, MECOMS has been adopted by Water Plus, a joint venture between the commercial books of both Severn Trent Water and United Utilities and continues to power Water Plus’ billing and customer management activities.
