Thanks to the wonders of the internet, getting incorporated these days is very easy. On setting out on our journey of incorporation, we were bewildered by the range of options for incorporation; there are companies out there who will do all the leg-work for you, or you can go your own way and do it all via Companies House.
We chose the former, wanting everything to go as smoothly as possible, and settled on a company called @UK PLC who for a minimal fee of £39.99 + VAT guided us through the incorporation process online and submitted my application to Companies House. The whole process takes in the region of 8 hours; our application was submitted at around 8pm in the evening, and by noon the next day we had received our details via email, with paper copies in the post as we speak.
